Refund policy

1. Overview

Quentaris LTD operates next-skin.net, a digital storefront selling game keys (“E-Keys”) — unique activation codes for video games and digital content. Because our products are digital goods delivered electronically, our refund policy reflects both the nature of these products and your rights under EU consumer protection law.

Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.

2. No Right of Withdrawal for Delivered Digital Keys

Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU on Consumer Rights, consumers normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal from distance contracts. However, this right does not apply to digital content (such as game keys) where:

  • The digital content has been made available (i.e., the key has been revealed or sent), and
  • You gave your explicit prior consent to immediate delivery, and
  • You acknowledged that you would lose your right of withdrawal upon delivery.

By completing a purchase on our website, you expressly consent to immediate delivery of the digital key and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal is forfeited once the key has been delivered to you. This is confirmed in your order confirmation email.

This is standard practice for all digital game key retailers operating within the EU.

3. When We Do Issue Refunds

Although general refunds are not available after key delivery, we will provide a refund or replacement in the following circumstances:

  • Invalid Key: The key you received does not work and we are unable to provide a valid replacement within a reasonable time.
  • Already Used Key: The key was already activated before you received it.
  • Wrong Product: You received a key for a different game or platform than what was described and shown on the product page.
  • Non-Delivery: You did not receive your key and we cannot confirm delivery through our system.

In these cases, we will first attempt to provide a replacement key. If a replacement is not available, a full refund will be issued.

4. When We Do Not Issue Refunds

We are unable to offer refunds in the following situations:

  • The key has been successfully activated on a gaming platform.
  • You changed your mind after the key was delivered.
  • You purchased the wrong game, edition, or region — please check product descriptions carefully before buying.
  • The game or key is region-locked and incompatible with your region (region information is stated on the product page).
  • Your gaming platform account was banned or restricted by the platform provider.
  • Technical issues caused by your own device, account, or internet connection.
  • The game did not meet your personal expectations or preferences.
  • More than 14 days have passed since the purchase date.

5. Region Locks and Platform Compatibility

Game keys are often region-specific. It is your responsibility to verify that the key is compatible with your region and gaming platform before purchasing. Product pages clearly state any regional restrictions.

We cannot issue refunds for keys that do not work due to regional incompatibility when this information was displayed on the product listing.

6. How to Submit a Refund Request

If you believe you are eligible for a refund under Section 3, please contact us at support@next-skin.net within 14 days of your purchase date. Include the following in your message:

  • Your full name and email address used at checkout.
  • Your order number.
  • A description of the issue.
  • A screenshot or other evidence showing the problem (e.g., error message when activating the key).

We will review your request and respond within 3 business days. If approved, refunds are processed back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.

7. Chargebacks

We strongly encourage you to contact our support team before initiating a chargeback with your bank or payment provider. Filing an unjustified chargeback for a successfully delivered and activated key may result in:

  • Permanent suspension of your account.
  • Reporting to fraud prevention services.
  • Legal action where applicable.

We take fraudulent chargebacks seriously and maintain detailed delivery logs for all orders.

8. EU Online Dispute Resolution

If you are an EU consumer and are not satisfied with the outcome of your complaint, you have the right to use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform:
